Scholarship
You may apply for a scholarship. Here are your options:
- Accommodation scholarship – only for Erasmus students. Students coming from EU countries can receive an accommodation scholarship – about CZK 2 000 / 3 months (approx. EUR 80 ). The scholarship is given automatically – you don’t need to apply for it and it is paid by the faculties. Your money will be prepared for you at your main faculty. More information at Study at CTU.
- Government scholarships – The Government of the Czech Republic offers scholarships within the framework of its Foreign Development Assistance in support of foreigners from developing countries at public institutions of higher education in the Czech Republic.
- The Professor Miroslav Vlček scholarship – is awarded to a foreign student who, in addition to fulfilling their study duties at CTU, has contributed to the dissemination of reputation of CTU in the Czech Republic and abroad, and who has supported greater internationalization of the university environment of the public universities in Prague. - Visegrad Scholarship Program– Prospective full-time Master and post-Master students (citizens of Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Kosovo, Moldova, Montenegro, Northern Macedonia, Serbia and Ukraine) can apply for a Visegrad Scholarship.
- Special Purpose Scholarship – Provided by the CTU, e.g. to students in a difficult social situation as a social contribution according to the CTU Scholarship Regulations, article 4. Students with special needs may apply for a contribution to cover the cost of special assistive technologies or aids necessary for their studies. The special-purpose scholarship may be awarded as a lump sum or as a monthly amount paid over a specified period of the academic year. Special purpose scholarships are awarded by the Dean or the Rector upon application by the student or upon the proposal of the Rector, the Dean, the Vice-Rectors or the Vice-Deans and Heads of Departments.
